Podiatry CPD Academy
Taking it to the next level
Want to be a better clincian? Want to make better clinial decisions? Want to increase your confidence in your skills and clinical decisions making? You are in the right place.
Podiatry CPD Academy has been developed by Craig Payne to offer his well-known Clinical Biomechanics Boot Camp online as well as other courses. He likes to describe himself as a ‘University lecturer, runner, cynic, researcher, skeptic, forum admin, woo basher, clinician, rabble-rouser, blogger and dad‘. Craig was previously a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Podiatry at LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Craig blogs at Running Research Junkie and skeptically at Its a Foot Captain, But Not As You Know It; he is the admin and regular contributor to Podiatry Arena. It is that expertise and background that he brings to the courses that Podiatry CPD Academy offers. Read more here on the reasoning behind offering it via this medium.
The courses at Podiatry CPD Academy are structured to take learners through the topic, with regular checks on understanding of the concepts. The courses are based on adult learning principles and research. They are interactive. Craig is there to guide learners along the way, answering questions and providing feedback.
All courses include lifelong access, so you can go back over things gain whenever you like, especially as new updated content is added. Connect with Craig on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn
“South Africa … has just enjoyed one of Craig’s Boot Camps! … we had 2 days of mind-bending information and interaction… But you know what? It works! I think Craig has possibly found a treatment for the intellectual constipation that we often suffer from in private practice….There is no doubt that whatever your level of podiatric biomechanical expertise the Boot Camp is a must do.” Andrew Clarke (link)
“Seriously, I had so many “but of course!” moments whilst attending the boot camp, I too would be “surprised if you don’t learn anything new that can’t be applied clinically.” This is, of course, due to Craigs willingness to openly question his own, and others, past and current ideas. The general consensus was that the excitement of developing new thoughts and applying them in practice is quite contagious!” Belinda
“I had high expectations from the man himself and he certainly did not dissappoint! A very enjoyable and informative two days!” Robert
“Great 2 days thanks Craig for giving me SUCH a headache” Derek
“a great 2 days, in which you leave knowing less than when you arrived. . . but in a good way” Ian
Craig is also partial to a Breakfast of Champions, all over the world.
